Hello,

a bit about me:

WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME WHAT I DO it can be tricky to respond in a coherent way because I have so many different roles. This website is intended to provide a little information about my work as a writer (of fiction and non-fiction) and editor, as well as outlining just a few of the things I do as an academic with a PhD in early modern history.

Spring 2023 I am currently working on a chapter for Giants and Dwarfs in European Art and Culture, ca. 1350-1700: Real, Imagined, Metaphorical for the Amsterdam University Press.
